Slowly Rotten is a four-piece Death Metal band from Husum, Germany, founded in 2007 by

Kevin “Rotten” Petersen – Vocals

Rune Thielmann – Bass

Gonne Thielmann – Drums

Patrick Wuggazer – Guitar

In early 2008, Jan Erik “Ercky” Neumann joined as second guitarist, completing the classic two-guitar Death Metal lineup. By the end of the year, Slowly Rotten released their first demo, combining old-school Death Metal with early Grindcore elements.

After the pandemic, Slowly Rotten celebrated their 15-year anniversary with a special show at Speicher Husum, presenting several new songs for the first time.
